A quick and simple way to build your forms within the Dropbox Forms editor is use the Auto-Build form. This tool will scan the uploaded PDF recognizing the form fields and surrounding text, using this information the tool will create the corresponding components and map them to the fields on the PDF. To use the Auto-Build tool follow the steps below:
- Click on 'Create Form' in the upper left corner of your account.
- Select 'Start with a PDF' and select your document from your computer.
- When the editor opens click 'Begin Scan'. The Auto-builder will then scan the document.
- Once the scan is complete review the fields on the document to ensure everything is correct.
All plans start with the ability to scan up to 10 pages, if a document has more than 10 pages the document will not scan. If you'd like to increase the number of pages available to scan please reach out to sales@hellosign.com.
